This sounds fascinating, Lewis. I'll be at my cabin in the woods with poor Internet, so I won't be able to join it live. I'm pondering buying a Deluxe ticket so I can stream it sometime in the following week.

Thanks @Eldarboy for the link, the program looks very interesting. I hope I'll be able to attend!

Also, I have to thank you for pointing out the Tafelmusik website itself. A veritable treasure trove to be explored! 🙏

Great to hear you enjoyed your evening, @Eldarboy! (couldn't catch up with you, though! Maybe next time then.)

What pieces did they play? And what did you enjoy the most about your evening?

The principal violinist Elisa Citteria, and conductor, continued her Vivaldi Quattro Stagione with “La Primavera”. This was my highlight, for I have now heard her interpretation of the four and it is by far the best I have encountered. I look forward to a recording of it.

A magician entertained with splendid card tricks while some of the Handel and others played. He made a correlation between the 12 tones, plus one, on the scale and the 13 cards in each “suit” ❤️♠️♣️♦️

Were the cards well tempered?
