Hello everyone π,
Noticing that almost all the links we post are either of Apple Music or Idagio, we want to make sure no one is left behind if they're using another streaming service because they don't have access/ subscription to these two!
Please take a moment to vote in the poll above, so that in the future we can try and provide alternative links to the recordings/ albums on other platforms.
(If you can access both platforms, choose the one you use the most).

I, too, am streaming from Apple Music pretty much exclusively (for the same reason as @hugh) although I do use Idagio for access to pdf booklets when they are available.
Songlink/Odesli (<a href=" removed link " target="_blank" rel="noopener">odesli.co) is a good service for sharing links to multiple streaming services. Unfortunately, Idagio is not one of the services that are included so probably limited for the purposes of this group. Here's an example of what it can do:

Hi @paul and welcome to the forum!
Songlink Odesli is a very interesting suggestion.Β
Unfortunately, links are automatically removed as a security measure from the first post anyone makes on this forum. Β It would be great if you could post again, including the links.
Thanks @jen.Β Here's the link to Songlink/Odesli:

And here's a clickable example of what it does:

Ah, sorry Paul, Iβm not sure whatβs happened there. Β Can you help, @capriccio?
Great idea for a poll!
I wanted to mention posting links to a piece on youtube is also a possibility, and doesn't require a subscription to access. (That said, youtube also has ads, and not always good sound quality, etc.... limited options, etc.Β So there is a downside...)
As a side note, I just thought I'd mention that I signed up for Idagio's 6 months free offer after the death of Primephonic, butΒ I *MAY* consider switching over to Apple Music at some point if they really do end up incorporating the full Primephonic catalog and implementing the promised classical only Primephonic interface.
I find that both Idagio and Apple Music complement each other for my purposes (for now!). One feature I really like about Apple is that there's an option to search by label name (most of them). Yet, Idagio's interface is the closest I could find to Primephonic's.
So @jchokey, if you can, I advise you to keep both subscriptions for the time being. π
And yes, youtube is very useful for live streams, rare recordings and much more .... (personally, I love watching musicians play, in performance or on video, as much as listening to a high quality recording!)
Cheerio π€
@Paul, I've edited your original post to add the link!
Here it is, in a separate post:

It's a great resource, by the way. Thank you π

Just to clarify, I only have Idagio for now.
I know I get the free subscription to Apple Music too, through Primephonic's acqusition but I'm afraid to try it.Β I've heard too many horror stories from friends whose iTunes library got totally screwed up when they joined Apple Music streaming-- and I've spent too much ripping labeling, curating, and organized that to let it get messed up.)Β If they really do get the Primephonic interface later, I'll consider joining through some separate, unique account that is in no way connected to my iTunes.
